About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance & Accounts team. This internship offers hands-on experience in financial operations within the hospitality industry. The selected candidate will gain practical exposure to accounting procedures, financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and compliance activities while supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining financial records and accounting documentation.
- Support daily cash, bank, and petty cash reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and expense reports.
- Record and verify financial transactions accurately.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in inventory and stock reconciliation activities.
- Help prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Support tax, VAT, and statutory compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with various departments regarding financial requirements.
- Perform other finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree running or recently completed in:
BBS, BBA,BBM, BIM, BHM, Or equivalent finance/accounting-related field
Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
